Grand Final Day 2009
Victoria Park - Wednesday August 26th


Three grand finals were played under a sunny blue sky for most of the day. The weather almost held off for all three games but even when the Clouds gathered and the drizzle started to fall it still didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the players as they all chased the big prize.

The day started with a breakfast for the Collingwood Knights at the Lexus Center with special guest speaker former capatin of the Collingwood Football Club, 3 time EW Copeland Trophy winner, VFL Coach and premiership winning player, Gavin Brown. Paul Licuria, 188 game veteran and current Collingwood VFL Team Manager, MCed the event and a very special thanks goes to Misty Warren, Community Liason Officer for the Collingwood Football Club, who does an amazing job looking after the extroadinarily broad reach the Collingwood Football Club has in the wider community.
